We are always so proud to celebrate the achievements of the community groups that we support.  

We want to congratulate two organisations on some incredible wins at recent award ceremonies and celebrate the work they do day in and day out to support other people in our communities.  

ReLove, an organisation supporting people in crisis by setting them up with free furnishings in their new home were recent recipients of the ‘Team Volunteer of the Year’ Award at the recent NSW Volunteer of the Year Awards.  

We want to send a huge congratulations to co-founders, Ren Fernando, and Ben Stammer and the broader ReLove team for this achievement and commend the incredible work they do to support people in crisis across Sydney. 

In September, Little Wings’ Head of Flight Operations, Adam Holt won ‘Commercial Pilot of the Year’ Award at the Australian Aviation Awards.  

After joining Little Wings in 2015 as a volunteer pilot to assist with pilot training and recruitment, Adam took the role of Head of Flying Operations in 2017. Adam eventually joined the Little Wings team as a full-time staff member in 2022 and plays a pivotal role in the team, helping support families across regional Australia get the help they need.
