Bankstown Sports are proud to work with over 40 sporting clubs and over 70 local community organisations in the past 12 months. The 31st of August signalled the end of the 2023 ClubGRANTS year and Bankstown Sports are proud to have been able to contribute over $3.5M to local grassroots sport and community organisations through ClubGRANTS.  

This funding included a $50,000 donation to ReLove, supporting people in crisis establish new homes with free furnishings and set up. Additionally, funding was provided to CatholicCare’s Disability Service, to grow their BariStars program, supporting people with a disability in attaining their barista accreditation to develop their skills and personal development.  

In 2023, we paid the final balance of our $1.5M commitment to upgrade the facilities at Bankstown Cricket Oval, and we celebrated some major international achievements by Bankstown athletes, including cricketer Ash Gardner, hockey star Ash Thomas, NRL player Khaled Rajab, and athletics star Cameron Myers. 

Throughout the last 12 months, Bankstown Sports funded 537 individual event bookings through ClubGRANTS, further supporting our local community as they come together.
