Bankstown Sports is proud to congratulate George Ronis on being elected unopposed to the Club’s Board of Directors.
George has lived in the Canterbury-Bankstown area his entire life and has been a proud member of Bankstown Sports since 2007. He is a seasoned real estate professional with over 20 years of experience, specialising in commercial and residential property sales and property management.
In addition to his professional expertise, George brings valuable community experience having previously served as a Director of The Greek Orthodox Community of NSW Ltd.
George’s appointment brings fresh energy and insight to the Board, and we look forward to working with him for many years to come.
After more than 20 years of service on our Board and as a proud member since 1965, Jim Ronis has decided not to stand for re-election and will be stepping down.
Jim has been a pillar of our Board for more than two decades shaping the club into what it is today. Through periods of change and growth, he ensured our values stayed strong and our vision remained clear. Jim’s passion for the club and its members has been evident in every decision and conversation. We are a stronger, better club because of his leadership over so many years.
On behalf of the Board, our team, and every member, we want to say thank you. Thank you for your leadership, your loyalty, and the legacy you leave behind.
