Sound City is a highly acclaimed duo with over 10 years’ experience in the entertainment industry. Nanci’s sultry vocals glide over the full sound of Michael’s acoustic guitar and drum looping expertise ensures a driving beat and dance floor together with Nanci’s accompanying percussion, all powered through a top-of-the-line Electrovoice PA System, bringing a supreme, crisp sound quality. Fronted by Nanci, a charismatic and powerful vocalist who has been leading bands and duos for over 8 years in Sydney and Internationally. Her energy and soothing sound has seen her working at numerous world class events including NRL Grand Finals and Bledisloe Cups, international contracts in China, Malaysia and the Middle East as well as various 5-Star Sydney venues.

Nanci is a stylistic chameleon and a charismatic performer with playful and creative sounds that pair perfectly with Michael’s melodic and commanding acoustic playing. Michael has come to be a well-known and respected session musician who has been performing live for over 10 years and had the honour of performing for the US Presidential Party in 2011, as well as guest appearances on stage with legendary Australian acts such as The Living End, The Angels and Angry Anderson. These days with new acoustic influences, Michael has built a powerful, yet very melodic wall of sound that pairs perfectly with Nanci to create Sound City, a real, pure sounding modern act.
