BLAKE CATERIS

Blake Cateris is an Australian professional musician who is constantly honing his craft as a singer, songwriter, guitarist and bass guitarist.

The bass player, frontman and songwriter for Australian band Molly & The Krells began studying music from the age of five and two years later, he picked up the bass guitar for the first time and hasn’t put it down since. From the age of fifteen he’s worked hard to earn his stripes through performance and was immediately supported by older musicians in his country’s music scene. 

At the age of 25, Blake has had countless offers for projects and has been quoted repeatedly by most of them as the ‘glue of the band’. Notable mentions include working on The Hots‘ debut EP (Ronnie Simmons & Foxie Kelly) alongside award winning producer Mark Opitz (AC/DC, The Angels, Cold Chisel, INXS, Divinyls, Hoodoo Gurus, Noiseworks and many more) with Mick O’Shea (Rose Tattoo, Dragon, Billy Thorpe, Kevin Borich + many more) on drums; as well as with 5-time ARIA Music Award winning producer Paul McKercher (You Am I, Josh Pyke, Sarah Blasko, Eskimo Joe + many more) in the engine room of Magnus‘ sophomore album with Lucius Borich (Cog, Kevin Borich Express, Juice) on drums.
